Owens-Illinois manufactured Kaylo asbestos-containing thermal insulation prior to January 1, 1959 before selling the rights to those products to Owens-Corning.
In 2019, Owens-Illinois formed a new corporate structure, creating a parent company (O-I Glass, Inc.) and subsidiaries which included Paddock Enterprises, LLC.
In January 2020, Paddock Enterprises, LLC filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy.
