The Owens-Illinois Asbestos Personal Injury Trust was established under Chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code. The Trust was organized to process, liquidate, and pay all valid asbestos personal injury claims in accordance with the TDP.
The purpose of the Trust is to provide fair, equitable and substantially similar treatment for all PI Trust claims that may presently exist or may arise in the future.
